Each student's final grade is typically calculated from assignment, test and exam scores as follows:

Students must achieve a score of at least 50% on the exam to pass CISC 101. Students who do not pass the exam will have their exam grade assigned as their final grade, even if the grade calculated using the scheme above is higher. Assignment and test scores will not be taken into account if a student does not pass the final exam.
